Art Gallery donates money to breast cancer research

Shops at 25 West, an art gallery in Little Falls, New York, is donating all of the proceeds they receive from their "Angel Art" exhibit to breast cancer research, according to the Little Falls Times.

The store holds various paintings that showcase angels in different lights, with creations from 40 different artists, including one that uses metal to design their angels, according to the news provider.

"I had gotten in touch with the artist who did the metal art with the wings. [Tammy Pendleton] told me she donates all her work to Johnny's Angels," Marcella Asselta, the owner of the shop, told the news source. "They help out Children's Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition in Watsonville, California. She said she'd like to give her work for breast cancer research, so she put my information on her website."

Johnny's Angels: Depp Fans for Charity is an organization in which individuals donate for breast cancer breakthrough news in the name of being a fan of the actor Johnny Depp, the media outlet reports.

According to the American Cancer Society, one in eight women in the U.S. will eventually be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point throughout their lives.
